Lean in, ShEO, I have a secret to share with you….selling isn’t about convincing, it’s about connecting. And when you’re rooted in your purpose, that connection happens naturally.
If you’re anything like I was when I first started, “selling” felt more like performing. I thought I had to be perfect. I needed the fancy script, the right DM strategy, and the magic number of weekly Instagram posts. But here’s the truth I’ve learned (and lived):
Selling should be a natural extension of your value, not a pushy tactic that drains you. Your dream clients feel it when you lead with intention, embody your message, and trust your presence. And they start coming to you.
Ditch the Pitch: Selling with Feminine Energy
Let’s redefine what selling looks like for us as women.
Forget the old paradigm that’s all about pressure, persuasion, and urgency timers. We’re building businesses in alignment with who we are, not who we think we need to be to make money.
When we sell from feminine energy, we focus on:
- Connection over conversion
- Invitation over interruption
- Confidence over convincing
That means showing up fully as yourself, sharing your heart, and trusting that the right people will recognize the value in what you offer.
Because they will.
Step 1: Connect with Your Client's Heart, Not Just Their Pain Points
You’ve probably heard that “pain sells.” And yes, knowing your client’s struggles is essential, but we don’t have to poke at wounds to earn trust.
Instead, let’s ask:
- What does she dream of?
- What does she want to feel more of?
- What’s keeping her stuck—and how can your work be the shift?
When you speak to both her pain and her possibility, you’re not selling a service—you’re offering a transformation.
And that? That’s magnetic.
Step 2: Energetic Alignment Beats Strategy Every Time
Let’s talk about the thing no one includes in their sales training slides:
Your energy is your biggest sales tool.
Before I send a single email or show up on a call, I check in:
- Am I showing up from abundance or urgency?
- Do I believe in the value I’m offering?
- Am I excited to serve, not just to sell?
If the energy’s off, I pause. Realign. Maybe I’ll take a walk. Light a candle. Reconnect to my bigger “why.” Because people don’t just buy your offer—they buy how it feels to be around you.
You can have the most “perfect” strategy in the world, but if your energy says, “I hope they buy so I can feel successful,” that desperation leaks through. When you embody “This offer will change your life if it’s meant for you—and if not, that’s okay too,” you become magnetic.
Step 3: Create Content That Speaks Their Language
Here’s your permission slip to stop trying to sound professional, polished, or like someone else.
Your content should feel like a conversation, not a commercial.
The goal isn’t to convince—it’s to connect. Think:
- Real stories (even the messy ones)
- Behind-the-scenes moments
- Lessons you’ve learned the hard way
- Truths you wish someone had told you earlier
Whether it’s a blog post, a reel, or an email, let your audience feel you.
And don’t be afraid to name your offer at the end clearly. We’re not hiding. We’re not tiptoeing. We’re inviting the right women to step forward.
Step 4: Offer Before You're "Ready"
Let’s be honest—waiting to feel 100% ready is one of the biggest sales blocks out there.
If you’re waiting for your offer to be perfect, your audience to grow, or your confidence to magically appear before putting yourself out there…
… you’ll be waiting a long time.
The magic happens when you move before you’re ready. Not because you’re rushing—but because you’re leading with faith.
A few reminders I return to often:
- Your first version is allowed to be imperfect.
- Clarity comes from action, not overthinking.
- You don’t need everyone to say yes—you just need the right ones.
Launch messy. Make the offer. Say the thing.
Your dream clients aren’t looking for perfect—they’re looking for real.
Step 5: Make Space for the Yes
Sometimes it’s not about doing more—it’s about creating space for the results you’re calling in.
Think about it like this: if your schedule, your mindset, and your energy are all jam-packed with busyness, where’s the room for aligned clients actually to come in? This is where feminine flow gets to lead.
Here’s how to invite in the “yes” with ease:
- Make sure your offer is clearly visible (is it easy to find on your site, LinkedIn, or Instagram bio?)
- Remove friction—create simple pathways for people to book, message, or join
- Spend time being in the version of yourself who already has the clients, the income, the flow you desire
Sometimes we don’t need to hustle more—we just need to get out of the way and let our presence speak for us.
Let This Be the Season You Sell with Soul
So here’s what I want you to remember: You don’t have to push harder to be more successful.
You don’t need the perfect script or the loudest launch. What you do need is alignment, clarity, and the courage to let yourself be seen. Because when you show up in your power—open, intentional, and unapologetically you—selling becomes sacred. It becomes a way to serve. A way to invite. A way to lead.
You’re not here to convince. You’re here to connect. And the women you’re meant to serve? They’ll feel it. So show up. Speak your truth. Share what’s on your heart. And trust that the right ones will say yes, not because you sold them, but because you saw them. That, ShEO, is how you spring into sales—with heart, ease, and power.
