I'm the first-born daughter who left corporate to build something on my own terms. I did it. Leaving was a thrill. Making the business work was harder.

The build
I hit roadblock after roadblock, and did what most new owners do: invested thousands in coaching, programs, and courses. Some changed everything. Many left me more overwhelmed than when I started.

The turn
Eventually the business worked. People trusted me, the calendar filled, and somewhere in the middle of making it all happen I'd built a company where every decision, every client result and every next step still came through me. I'd built the dang thing. It just wasn't built for where I wanted to take it.
That's what changed the way I lead.

How I work now
I believe the business should be built for the woman running it, and for where she's going next. Not the other way around.
This year I went back through more than 150 of my own coaching calls, every client, every industry, and looked for what actually moved. The pattern was the same every time. She came in sure she needed more leads. It was almost never leads. It was one of five things, and she was working on everything except that one.
So that's the work now. Find the one thing the business has outgrown. Fix that first. Then the rest, in the order that holds. What you end up with is a business built for the next level you've been wanting, not the one you're currently managing. I call it the Reset: Realign, Eliminate, Systemize, Embody, Track.
The part that doesn't fit on a strategy call
There's a piece of this I stopped pretending was separate from the numbers.
You can't hold more if you haven't made space for it. You can't charge more while you're still running on a poor money mindset. You can't get specific about what you do while you're still doubting that you can do it.
So the structure and the energetics run together. Every strategy goes through your Human Design: how you're built to make decisions, where your energy leaks, what you're actually here to be known for. Not instead of the numbers. Underneath them. In the Reset that stage is called Embody, and it's usually where the new price finally gets said out loud.
